A blue slip is $82, and that AUVIS inspection checks the VIN, engine number and compliance plate against your paperwork, with the certificate valid for 42 days. Puncture repair is from $20: the tyre is plugged and patched from the inside, then rebalanced before it goes back on the car. Not sure what is wrong? The diagnostic is a fault-code scan and a road test, $49, then a written quote for any repair.
