Priced differently

- Any repair we find. It is quoted first and only done with your OK.
What moves the figure
- How much oil your engine takes
- Engines take different amounts. Yours always gets its full fill, and the price is confirmed for your car.
- The oil your engine needs
- We use the specification your manufacturer sets, from Liqui Moly, Penrite, Motul, Castrol, Mobil and Valvoline. The grade and the brand change the figure.
- Your oil filter
- A less common or dearer filter changes the figure. If a part has to be ordered in, we tell you when we call.
- What your schedule calls for
- Other filters, spark plugs or fluids due at this service are extra items, priced before we start.
Your final price depends on your vehicle's oil quantity, required oil specification, filter and scheduled work. We confirm the total before you commit.
Anything we find during the service is a separate job. We call you with a written figure and nothing extra is done without your OK.

Serviced to schedule
Your manufacturer's schedule on approval-grade oil, the service indicator reset and the logbook stamped.
What does the starting price cover?
4-cylinder European models on approval-grade oil with OE-specification filters, from $199. Price depends on make, model, kilometres and oil specification, and is confirmed for your car before any work starts. Six- and eight-cylinder engines and performance models are quoted first.
I drive a European SUV. Is it the same?
If it has a four-cylinder engine, yes: a 4-cylinder Tiguan, Q3, X1, GLA or XC40 is the same service. Six- and eight-cylinder SUVs and 4WDs are priced for the car. Send your rego with the SUV option ticked and we call you with the figure before anything is booked.
Which oil goes in my car?
The one that carries the approval your manufacturer sets for that engine, named by the maker's own code, such as BMW Longlife or Mercedes-Benz 229. The right approval grade for your engine is confirmed when we look up your rego.
Will servicing here affect my new-car warranty?
No. Servicing here does not affect your new-car warranty or your consumer guarantees. We service to the manufacturer's schedule with approval-grade oil and quality parts, stamp the logbook and keep the records.
How is this different from a logbook service?
It follows the same idea, the manufacturer's schedule with the logbook stamped, priced for a European car. The logbook service, from $169, assumes 5W-30 oil and a common filter; European engines take approval-grade oil and OE-specification filters.
Details
Servicing here does not affect your consumer guarantees, and manufacturer warranties generally do not require dealer servicing where the work meets the manufacturer's standards. We follow the schedule, use appropriate parts, stamp the logbook and keep the records.
