Details

Servicing here does not affect your consumer guarantees, and manufacturer warranties generally do not require dealer servicing where the work meets the manufacturer's standards. We follow the schedule, use appropriate parts, stamp the logbook and keep the records.

What you're requesting

How we service your Fiat

  • Your manufacturer's service schedule, for your model, year and engine
  • Oil carrying your engine's approval code, from Liqui Moly, Penrite, Motul, Castrol, Mobil and Valvoline
  • OE-specification filters from Mann, Mahle, Ryco and Bosch
  • Service indicator reset
  • Logbook stamped and the records kept
  • Price confirmed for your car before any work starts

What can change the price

Service schedule

The Fiat 500, 500X and Abarth 595 are serviced every 12 months or 15,000 km, whichever comes first. Your car's own logbook is the final word for your model.

What a generic service misses

An Abarth isn't a 500 underneath
The Abarth 1.4 T-Jet takes a 10W-50 oil, not the 5W-40 the regular 500 uses, and its own certified spark plugs.
Abarth timing belt
120,000 km or 6 years, whichever comes first; sooner with hard or dusty use.
Valve clearances on the 500 1.2
A tappet check is on the 500 1.2 schedule, which is unusual for a modern engine.
Brake fluid every two years
Regardless of kilometres.

Needs a scan tool: Service indicator reset · Engine management check through the diagnostic socket

What moves the figure

How much oil your engine takes
Engines take different amounts. Yours always gets its full fill, and the price is confirmed for your car.
The oil your engine needs
We use the specification your manufacturer sets, from Liqui Moly, Penrite, Motul, Castrol, Mobil and Valvoline. The grade and the brand change the figure.
Your oil filter
A less common or dearer filter changes the figure. If a part has to be ordered in, we tell you when we call.
What your schedule calls for
Other filters, spark plugs or fluids due at this service are extra items, priced before we start.

Which oil does my Fiat take?

The one carrying your engine's approval. On Fiat that is usually Fiat 9.55535-S2, Fiat 9.55535-GH2 and Fiat 9.55535-S1, depending on the engine. We confirm it from your rego before quoting.

How often does a Fiat need a service?

The Fiat 500, 500X and Abarth 595 are serviced every 12 months or 15,000 km, whichever comes first. Your car's own logbook is the final word for your model.

Will servicing here affect my new-car warranty?

No. Servicing at an independent workshop does not affect your consumer guarantees, and manufacturer warranties generally do not require dealer servicing where the work meets the manufacturer's standards. We follow the schedule, stamp the logbook and keep the records.

Details

We are not a Fiat dealer and Fiat has not authorised this workshop. We are an independent workshop that services to the manufacturer's schedule and records what went in.

Among the most common Fiats on Australian roads: 500, Abarth 595, 500X and Ducato. Whichever you drive, send the rego and we confirm the engine, the oil approval and the price before anything is booked.
