Details
Servicing here does not affect your consumer guarantees, and manufacturer warranties generally do not require dealer servicing where the work meets the manufacturer's standards. We follow the schedule, use appropriate parts, stamp the logbook and keep the records.
How we service your Mercedes-Benz
- Your manufacturer's service schedule, for your model, year and engine

- OE-specification filters from Mann, Mahle, Ryco and Bosch
- Service indicator reset
- Logbook stamped and the records kept
- Price confirmed for your car before any work starts
What can change the price
Service schedule
Mercedes-Benz Australia puts most passenger models on 12 months or 25,000 km, alternating Service A and Service B. Some AMG models are 12 months or 20,000 km. The service indicator tells you which is next. Your car's own logbook is the final word for your model.
What a generic service misses
- Which service is next, A or B
- Service A and Service B are different jobs. The indicator says which one, and the price follows it.
- Automatic gearbox oil and filter
- Mercedes-Benz Australia lists it as a scheduled item, but it isn't in every A or B service, so it gets missed.
- Brake fluid, coolant and filters
- Each is a scheduled replacement on its own timing, between the yearly services.
- Battery registration on newer models
- Many newer models, especially with start-stop, need a new battery registered.
Needs a scan tool: Service indicator reset · Electronic parking brake pad-change mode · Battery registration on newer models · Gearbox fault code read
What moves the figure
- How much oil your engine takes
- Engines take different amounts. Yours always gets its full fill, and the price is confirmed for your car.
- The oil your engine needs
- We use the specification your manufacturer sets, from Liqui Moly, Penrite, Motul, Castrol, Mobil and Valvoline. The grade and the brand change the figure.
- Your oil filter
- A less common or dearer filter changes the figure. If a part has to be ordered in, we tell you when we call.
- What your schedule calls for
- Other filters, spark plugs or fluids due at this service are extra items, priced before we start.

Choose your service
Basic or European servicing, or tyres. Not sure? Pick “something else” and tell us what's going on.
Give us your rego
Or your tyre size. That is how we look up your car and what it takes.
We call you back
With the price for your car and a time that suits. Nothing is booked until you say yes.
Can an independent workshop service it without affecting the warranty?
Yes. Australian Consumer Law prevents a manufacturer requiring dealership servicing as a condition of a new-car warranty. The schedule must still be followed and appropriate parts and fluids used, which is what we do and document.
Do you use the correct specification fluids?
Yes, that is why we confirm the engine variant first. The specification is exact, and the invoice records what went in so the service history holds up.
What if it needs something you cannot do?
We will tell you before we start rather than after. Some work genuinely belongs with a franchised dealer, and saying so is cheaper for you than us learning on your car.
Details
A Mercedes-Benz will generally tell you what it needs, and the mistake is to override it with a generic schedule. We read the car, quote what it is asking for, and explain it in plain terms.
We are an independent workshop. Mercedes-Benz has not authorised us and we are not a dealer. What we can do is meet the specification, document that we met it, and charge independent rates for it.
If a job is genuinely better done by a franchised dealer, we will say so. That happens rarely, but it happens, and you are better served by hearing it than by us taking the work anyway.
