Servicing here does not affect your consumer guarantees, and manufacturer warranties generally do not require dealer servicing where the work meets the manufacturer's standards. We follow the schedule, use appropriate parts, stamp the logbook and keep the records.

What can change the price
Service schedule
Cupra Australia services every 12 months or 15,000 km, whichever comes first. Depending on kilometres and age, a service can include brake fluid, plugs, the drive belt, DSG oil and Haldex oil. Your car's own logbook is the final word for your model.
What a generic service misses
- DSG gearbox oil
- Every petrol Cupra sold here is a dual-clutch automatic, and Cupra lists the gearbox oil as a scheduled item.
- Haldex oil on the AWD Formentor
- The all-wheel-drive coupling has its own oil, separate from the engine.
- Plugs and the drive belt
- Longer-interval items Cupra lists that fall between yearly services.
Needs a scan tool: Service interval reset · Electronic parking brake service mode · Battery coding after replacement
What moves the figure
- How much oil your engine takes
- Engines take different amounts. Yours always gets its full fill, and the price is confirmed for your car.
- The oil your engine needs
- We use the specification your manufacturer sets, from Liqui Moly, Penrite, Motul, Castrol, Mobil and Valvoline. The grade and the brand change the figure.
- Your oil filter
- A less common or dearer filter changes the figure. If a part has to be ordered in, we tell you when we call.
- What your schedule calls for
- Other filters, spark plugs or fluids due at this service are extra items, priced before we start.

Which oil does my Cupra take?
The one carrying your engine's approval. On Cupra that is usually VW 504 00 / 507 00 and VW 508 00 / 509 00, depending on the engine. We confirm it from your rego before quoting.
How often does a Cupra need a service?
Cupra Australia services every 12 months or 15,000 km, whichever comes first. Depending on kilometres and age, a service can include brake fluid, plugs, the drive belt, DSG oil and Haldex oil. Your car's own logbook is the final word for your model.
Will servicing here affect my new-car warranty?
No. Servicing at an independent workshop does not affect your consumer guarantees, and manufacturer warranties generally do not require dealer servicing where the work meets the manufacturer's standards. We follow the schedule, stamp the logbook and keep the records.
Details
We are not a Cupra dealer and Cupra has not authorised this workshop. We are an independent workshop that services to the manufacturer's schedule and records what went in.
Among the most common Cupras on Australian roads: Formentor, Leon, Ateca and Born. Whichever you drive, send the rego and we confirm the engine, the oil approval and the price before anything is booked.
