At $52, the pink slip is the eSafety inspection you need before renewing rego on a vehicle past five years old, and the result is sent to Transport for NSW electronically. For new tyres the price is from $99 per tyre, depending on size and brand, and that covers fitting, balancing, a new valve and taking the old tyre away. Fixing a puncture is from $20, plugged and patched from the inside and rebalanced, where the damage sits in the repairable part of the tyre. Not sure what is wrong? The diagnostic is a fault-code scan and a road test, $49, then a written quote for any repair.
